BURY Council is backing new protection for tourists buying "tailor-made or "dynamic package holidays.
The guidelines are aimed at travel agents who assemble holidays from various sources to suit a customer's requirements.
Angela Lomax, the council's principal trading standards officer, said: "Holiday complaints are one of the top five complaint categories received.
These guidelines are good news for consumers and should ensure better protection if things go wrong."
