COMMUNITY groups are still being invited to help organise an exhibition of activities for young people in Radcliffe.
Greater Manchester Police is asking groups who could involve youngsters to get in touch, so that a directory of schemes can be created to help keep young people occupied and active.
PC Roy Cross, based at Radcliffe Police Station, said: "We are interested in hearing from groups that are directly linked with young people, such as youth clubs and leisure centres.
"But we are also interested in schemes that young people might like to have a go at, such as flower arranging or dance anything that will keep young people occupied in the evenings and at weekends.
"When we speak to teenagers they always say there is nothing to do, but we are hoping to change all that in the area."
It is hoped that, once a list has been compiled, an exhibition day will be held at Radcliffe Civic Suite, to allow young people the chance to see what is on offer for them in the town.
