A drink-driver whose journey started at Haslingden and ended up in Bury via the motorway told a police patrol that she had also been smoking cannabis, a court heard.
Deborah Kershaw, of Cobden End Lane, Haslingden, admitted she drove on the M66 with excess alcohol when she appeared before Bury magistrates.
Unemployed Kershaw was banned from driving for 16 months, fined £150 and ordered to pay £60 court costs.
She told the bench: "I've no explanation for it."
