BUSINESSES in Blackburn with Darwen are invited to go global at a free event.
Blackburn with Darwen Council has joined forces with the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and No Limits to provide advice and guidance to businesses about expanding sales through export.
Coun Alan Cottam, executive member for regeneration and environment, said: “We have some world class companies but they may not consider exporting. This event aims to take some of the mystery out of the business of international trade.
“With the exchange rate currently to our advantage, and likely to remain that way for some time, now is a great time to consider exporting.”
The event takes place at Blackburn Town Hall on Friday, starting at 10am.
Sessions will include a local company talking about experiences of exporting.
