A CLUB owner has vowed to carry on after a break-in delayed the refurbishment of an Accrington nightspot.
Tools and stone flags, worth hundreds of pounds, were stolen from the Voodoo Lounge, in Willow Street, over the weekend.Owner Mick Cookson said: “It is a setback, but we are determined it won’t hold us back for long. We are set on making the renovation a success. The cement floors have been dug up where they have taken the flags and we now have to replace all the tools and start again, but we are going to keep going.”
The break-in was between 11.30pm on Saturday and 8.30am on Monday.
