MORE than 100 partygoers had to be evacuated from a cabaret night in Darwen on Saturday night when a smoke machine set off the fire alarms.
A soul and Motown special, featuring The Soultrain and a Diana Ross tribute act called Elicia, came to an abrupt end at 10.15pm at the Library Theatre.
