A NEW licensee is being sought to take over at a pub in Brierfield which has closed.
The Marsden Cross, in Higher Reedley Road, closed temporarily earlier this month after the licensee left.
A spokesman for Punch Taverns which owns the pub, said: “We can confirm that the Marsden Cross is temporarily closed.
Our priority is to re-open the pub as soon as possible and we are actively recruiting the right licensee to build a successful, sustainable business.
