BURNLEY people are being asked to decide on a local broth that will be sold at Turf Moor.
People are being asked to go along to the 1882 suite at Turf Moor between 3.15pm and 5pm on Wednesday and take part in a taste test.
They will be able to taste four short-listed recipes for free and then vote for their favourite.
The winner will be announced shortly after the public vote.
The winning recipe will be available for fans to buy at Burnley’s home match against West Ham on February 6, with the winner also getting to meet some of the players and have their photo taken.
Coun Roger Frost, the council’s executive member responsible for environmental health, said: “I hope people will visit Turf Moor to take part in the public vote and help us find a Burnley broth.
“A lot of thought and effort has gone into putting together the recipes and it will be interesting to see what people think reflects the taste of Burnley.”
