Local people are being invited to have their say about taxis in Rossendale as part of a review of the Council’s licensing service. Anyone who has views on the cost, comfort, cleanliness, reliability, safety or any other issue to do with the borough’s taxis is encouraged to take part in the consultation.
Views on the driver’s knowledge, use of meters, disability access, use of taxi ranks and anything that prevents people from using taxis will be considered.
The Council licences taxi vehicles, their drivers and taxi operators as well as setting the licensing policies and regulations.
Send comments to licencing@rossendalebc.gov.uk The consultation is open until Friday 18th December 2009.
