ANN CRYER, MP for Keighley, addressed Labour Party activists at a fundraising dinner at the White Swan, Fence.
Sue Nike, of Barrowford Labour Party, showed a photograph of Mrs Cryer’s late husband, Bob, which sits on the mantelpiece of the Clarion house in Newchurch-in-Pendle.
The photo records a visit in 1992 when Bob Cryer, then MP for Keighley, re-opened the house.
