POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of an 82-year-old man who is missing from his home.

Herbert Owens normally has regular contact with his daughter but has not been in touch with her since September 26 and his vehicle, a silver Rover 25 with regist-ration number PE54 TVC has not been seen.

He is described as 6ft tall, slim, with short grey hair and wears glasses.

He may be wearing a jumper and pale brown trousers.

Mr Owens is from Southport, but is known to have relatives and friends in the Clitheroe and Colwyn Bay.
