THE former boss of Fraser Eagle is head-ing up a new firm.

Kevin Dean, who was managing director of the Padiham travel firm when it went into administration last week, is now at the helm of Connect Point UK Ltd.

According to Companies House, the firm was known as Fraser Eagle Business Solutions until its name was changed on February 18.

But this part of the Fraser Eagle business was not taken into administration.

Mr Dean is listed as a sole director of the firm.

According to documents from Companies House, Connect Point UK’s registered office is Pendle Court, Shuttleworth Mead Business Park, Padiham – the former home of Fraser Eagle.

But when the Lancashire Telegraph went to Pendle Court the offices were locked up.

Fraser Eagle Ltd is now listed as being under the stewardship of Manchester-based Baker Tilly Restructuring and Recovery LLP.

The administrators axed the 120-strong workforce last week and is looking to split the firm up and sell it off.

A spokesman for Baker Tilly also said that, as a normal part of the administration process, a report was being compiled into the actions of directors and would be presented to the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform within the next six months.

He also revealed that it was looking to sell some of Fraser Eagle’s former buildings at Burnley.

Mr Dean could not be contacted for comment.
