A MAN accused of a sex attack on a teenage girl has been cleared of rape by a jury at Preston crown court.
The judge also directed that 20-year-old Krzysztof Marciniak should be found not guilty on a second charge of kidnapping the girl.
The prosecution alleged that the 15-year-old was punched to the face before being sexually attacked at the defendant's flat in Johnston Street, Bank Top, Blackburn.
The jury had also been told that the girl was in such a state afterwards that she could barely talk.
Marciniak told police that the girl had consented and initiated what occured in December last year.
