A town centre opticians which has undergone a £25,000 transformation was officially reopened by Blackburn with Darwen Mayor, Cllr Parwaiz Akhtar.
Specsavers is located in The Mall Blackburn and staff unveiled the new layout of the store’s two audiology testing rooms.
Store Director, Georgina Wharmby, said: ‘We’re absolutely delighted with the changes to the store.
"They are already making a big difference to our customers’ experience and demonstrates our desire to bring the best possible service to the people of Blackburn.
‘We believe the investment will bring real benefits to our customers, combining the latest eye care, hearing care and retail technology to provide a highly professional and ultra-modern service.’
Specsavers, which also offers a home visits service for those unable to visit one of its 1,000 locally-owned stores, provides a range of eye care services.
