Save Accrington Victoria protest, 1990
Hundreds of protesters took part in a march from Accrington town centre to the town’s Victoria Hospital in January 1990.
They were opposed to proposals to close 'Accy Vic'.
They are pictured here at the top of Broadway before they turned left on to Whalley Road and made their way to the hospital where more protesters had gathered.
