A driver has been reported and was given some “strong advice” by police after they found the tyres on their car were in a shocking state.
The Volkswagen Tiguan was stopped yesterday afternoon at around 3.20pm due to an MOT issue.
However, officers then conducted further checks and found the front two tyres to be heavily worn.
The driver, who was stopped in Garstang Road, Preston, was said to be unaware of the condition of the tyres.
Police said he will receive points on his licence and was given some strong advice at the roadside.
