A Blackburn kickboxing club is celebrating kick-starting the new year with more success.
TMT Harwood Solicitors Fight Club competed at the WKO British Championships alongside other 1,600 fighters over the two-day competition.
Last summer, Igor Korennojs became amateur world champion in light contact K-1 rules. He continued his good form securing another first place in Barnsley.
Eesa Lodhi was also victorious and landed top spot in low kick light.
There were second place successes for Daniel Patel and Vytis Kuseliauskas and also great performances from Mikaeel Afzal, Isa Afzal, Markus Kudrjavceva, Deen Afzal and Richard Szileczki.

Coach Tibor Toth Miklai said: “It was a great performance by everyone and they did exceptionally well against some talented fighters
“I am proud of the team for their outstanding results and big thanks goes to our fans and parents for their support.
“It is wonderful that we have such committed parents and families who are always on hand to support the club in any way they can.”
