A bus service that offers a 'convenient and beautiful way to travel through the stunning landscapes of the Lake District' is set to return.
The Stagecoach X8 bus service runs between Lancashire and the Lakes, starting from Saturday March 30 to October 20.
Every Saturday, the X8 bus leaves from Chorley and takes passengers through some of the prettiest places around, including Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere, and Keswick.
A spokesperson for Stagecoach said: "Good news for people who love walking and exploring!
"You'll see amazing views and have a smooth trip as you visit these lovely spots.
"Whether you are a keen hiker looking for challenging trails, someone who enjoys nature and peace, or just want to escape the busy city life for a while, the X8 service has something for everyone.
"From great walks to calm lake cruises, the X8 can take you there!
"Don't miss out on the chance to discover the Lakes in all its glory. Jump on the X8 service and let the adventure begin."
