A 52-year-old man has been ordered to pay compensation to his victim after stealing a trailer worth £1,700.
John Price, of Altham Caravan Site, Whinney Hill Road, Accrington, appeared at Blackburn Magistrates' Court on March 14 charged with stealing an Ifor Williams single axle trailer to the value of £1,700, belonging to a man called Jack Haslam.
The trailer was stolen from Scorton, near Preston, on November 17.
Price, 52, was issued with a 12-month conditional discharge, and order to pay court costs and compensation to Mr Haslam.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Quick update, following the previous post in relation to a trailer theft from Scorton.
"John Price from Accrington was back in Blackburn Magistrates' Court on March 14.
"Price has been issued a 12-month conditional discharge with costs and compensation to be paid back."
