Students and staff at Burnley College are celebrating after reaching the finals for five categories at the Educate North Awards.

The college’s nominations include the coveted Further Education College of the Year award, as well as the second time it has been nominated for the Sustainable Green Initiative award.

Other successful nominations have come in the Creative Arts award, Campaign of the Year award, and Leadership and Innovation award categories.

The Campaign of the Year award is for the college’s marketing department, while the college’s head of fitness evolution, Ashley Alderson, is up for the Leadership and Innovation award.

The Educate North awards ceremony will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester in April.
