The fire service was called to a caravan fire in Church in the early hours of the morning (February 19).

Firefighters were called to Dunkenhalgh Way at around 2.15am.

The fire service was in attendance for an hour and 45 minutes.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 2.14 on February 19, one fire engine from Hyndburn attended a caravan fire on Dunkenhalgh Way, Church.

“Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for an hour and 45 minutes.”
