A Lancashire-based designer is making the move to join the fifth generation of a family-run garden buildings business.
Alli Croft, who specialises in garden planning and interior design, will be bringing these skills to Croft Windows and Conservatories.
In Preston, Croft’s history dates right back to 1874 when Thomas Croft founded Thomas Croft and Sons, the renowned building and civil engineering company.
This company had a long and illustrious existence, building many of the now city's landmarks - it also built Blackburn Cathedral and other landmarks throughout the North West.
Known for her signature illustrated drawings and plans, these will become a part of the Lancashire company’s heritage moving forward.
Alli developed a passion for flowers during her time in her most recent role as design lead at Holden Clough Nurseries, following on from her time at Stydd.
Alli said: “I am so excited to be working at Croft, alongside my husband John, and son Samuel who is the sixth generation to join.
“We have so many fresh ideas to build on our heritage and name and I am passionate to bring my approach to help customers receive something that they truly love.
“The spaces where we spend our time are so important to how we feel and the scope for creativity is huge.”
Customers can expect to see plenty of tips and tricks from Croft’s in-room styling and advice as Alli’s contributions are shared through the website and on social media.
For those looking for a more hands-on approach to their project, there will be additional garden planning and design services available with Alli for some projects.
These will be limited per year and available to book now by visiting www.croftconservatories.co.uk.
