A driver has been reported after pretending to be an emergency service in Blackpool.
Officers were made aware of a video circulating, which shows a vehicle in Blackpool using emergency lighting, sirens, and driving out from a Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) station.
The driver has been reported and given a traffic offence. The equipment was removed.
It has been confirmed that the driver has no connection to the fire service.
A police spokesperson said: “We are aware of a video circulating showing this vehicle in Blackpool using emergency lighting, sirens, and driving out from a Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service station.
“The driver has been issued a traffic offence report and the equipment removed. The driver had no connection to LFRS.”
