A driver has been arrested after testing positive for cocaine and failing to stop.
The driver was pursued by police between Blackpool and Poulton yesterday evening (January 4).
Police searched the vehicle, a blue Ford Focus, and recovered a quantity of cocaine.
The driver was also arrested for possessing class A drugs with intent to supply and dangerous driving.
A police spokesperson said: "Yesterday evening this vehicle failed to stop for Team4RPU and pursued from Blackpool to Poulton.
"The driver was found to be positive for cocaine. A search recovered a quantity of cocaine within the vehicle.
"Also arrested possess Class A with intent to supply and dangerous driving."
