The fire service called to Barnoldwick today (December 6) to tackle a house blaze.

Two fire engines, from Barnoldswick and Earby, were called to Rook Street.

Fire crews spend one hour and 15 minutes tackling the blaze.

A police spokesperson said: “At 11:38am on December 6, two fire engines from Barnoldswick and Earby attended a domestic building fire on Rook Street, Barnoldswick.

“Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels, and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and fifteen minutes.”
