The fire service was called to a vehicle blaze in Blackburn on Thursday evening.

At around 10.10pm, two fire engines were called to an incident on Haslingden Road.

Fire crews spent around 35 minutes tackling a vehicle fire.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: “On November 23, at 10.12pm, two fire engines from Blackburn attended an incident on Haslingden Road, Blackburn.

“Crews extinguished a vehicle on fire using one hose reel and one breathing apparatus. Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty-five minutes.”
