Not many households can boast of having an impressive railway viaduct at the end of their street.
Taken in October, 1962, this photo shows the terraced properties on Longworth Road in Billington.
Two of the 48 arches which form the Whalley Viaduct tower above the homes. We love the two bikes and what looks like a handcart ‘parked’ outside one of the homes.
