IT has become one of the most popular photos for every family album - first day at school for your kids.
After the school holidays, parents will have excited (or not) about dropping their kids off at the gates for the new school year.
We decided to delve back in the archives to see some happy smiling faces in their uniforms ready for the new year.
It makes you wonder how long these uniforms stayed as prestine before paint, pen or mud took over.
They say the school days are the happiest of your life when you think back to being care-free enjoying friendships which last for years and also learning about the world and preparing your for life.
