Four fire engines were called to a building fire in Whalley today (August 16).
The fire service was called to The Sidings at around 11.31am.
Four fire engines from Great Harwood, Hyndburn, Clitheroe and Burnley along with the aerial ladder platform from Blackburn, are in attendance.
Firefighters are wearing breathing apparatus and used one dry powder extinguisher to extinguish the fire.
Crews are still in attendance.
A fire service spokesperson said: “At 11.31am on the 16th August 2023, four fire engines from Great Harwood, Hyndburn, Clitheroe and Burnley along with the aerial ladder platform from Blackburn attended a commercial building fire on The Sidings, Whalley.
“Firefighters are wearing breathing apparatus and used one dry powder extinguisher to extinguish the fire crews remain in attendance.”
