Two men are wanted in connection with an attempted robbery and attack.
The attempted robbery happened on July 25, on the canal path near to the traffic lights on Penny Street, Lancaster.
Police are looking to trace the men after a man in his 50s was hit over the head. He fell over and suffered a leg injury.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Do you recognise these men?
“We want to trace them in connection with an attempted robbery in Lancaster.
“We appreciate they aren't the clearest CCTV images, but we're hoping someone will recognise them.
“Anyone who does recognise either of the men pictured, witnessed the incident, or has information about it is asked to please contact 101 – quoting log 1509 of July 25.”
