The fire service was called to a vehicle fire in Colne this morning (July 13).

Firefighters were called to Whitewalls Drive at around 5.34am.

The incident involved one vehicle and it took half an hour to extinguish the blaze. Fire crews used one hose reel jet to put out the fire.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 5.34am on July 13, one fire engine from Colne attended a vehicle fire on Whitewalls Drive, Colne.

“The incident involved one vehicle. Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for half an hour.”
