Police are appealing for information after men broke into a former mill in Brierfield and left graffiti on the walls.

Officers are investigating two burglaries at the former Brierfield Mill in Glen Way.

Police were called on July 11 and 12, in the early hours of the morning.

Four men forced their way into the building. Damage has been caused, including graffiti on the wall which reads ‘Aiddy was here’ and ‘Romeo stinks’.

Officers are urging people to take a look at the graffiti and see if they recognise any names.

A police spokesperson said: “We are investigating two burglaries.

“These happened on July 11 and 12 in the early hours.of the morning.

“Four males have entered the site and forced entry into the building. damage has been caused including graffiti.

“Please have a look at the images to see if you can provide any names.

“Have you seen any suspicious activity on the above dates in Brierfield where four males have been together.
