An Islamic Nasheed artist and community activist said he was surprised with the ‘phenomenal’ response following his most recent release.

Naseem Khan, also known as Nas-T to many of his social media followers released ‘Kamli Wale’ on Eid on June 28.

The track passed 100,000 views within days of the release.

The video was filmed and produced in Blackburn and sees Nas-T drive up to the Heavenly Desserts restaurant in the town centre.

He is then seen inside the venue and talking to Councillor Tiger Patel and other friends from Blackburn.

He said: “It was great filming in Blackburn and the response has been phenomenal so far.

“We always try to put Blackburn on the map and showcase the town to viewers across the world.

“I also love to include people from Blackburn who have been supportive of my work over the years. I think it is great they are able to feature in the video.

“This is my third Single after the success of ‘May Laj Pa La’ and ‘Mujhe B Madine’.

“I would like to thank all the supporters such as Heavenly Desserts and MK Menswear, Man E, Tiger Patel, Faraz and Mohammed Shafiq of First Qibla Tours.”
