Food hygiene inspectors have rated three takeaways in Burnley in the latest round of inspections.

Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated one a four out of five rating, another a three out of five rating and a third takeaway a two out of five hygiene rating.

New Taste, a takeaway in Burnley Road, Padiham, Lancashire was given the score of four after assessment on March 21, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

The inspection report states the management of food safety is very good, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good whilst the hygienic food handling is generally satisfactory.

Bombay Hut, a restaurant in Liverpool Road, Burnley, Lancashire was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 22.

The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are generally satisfactory whilst the management of food safety is good.

And Yi Fong, a takeaway in Allendale Street, Burnley, Lancashire was given a score of two on March 22.

The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the management of food safety are generally satisfactory whilst improvement is necessary for the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building.
