The Mall Blackburn is kicking off its 2023 free children’s events programme with a happy themed week of free arts and crafts during half-term.

Bursting with colour, smiles and creativity, the week will get underway on Valentine’s Day with a paper heart flower card workshop.

The fun filled line-up, which runs until Sunday, February 19, also includes rainbow mobiles, stress balls, flapping butterflies, happiness jars and much more.

Loraine Jones, general manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “The start of 2023 has whizzed by in a flash and we are delighted to be kick starting our programme of free children’s events with a happy themed week of creative fun!

“It’s hard to keep the kids entertained during the holidays, so we have something exciting and new every day, starting on what is one of the happiest days of the year - Valentine’s Day! We can’t wait to see what the children of Blackburn and beyond create!”

Tuesday, February 14- Paper heart flower cards

Wednesday, February 15 - Rainbow mobiles

Saturday, February 18 - Happiness jars

Sunday, February 19 - Rain sticks
