DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a cyclist snatched a purse from a teenager who was crossing the road in Darwen.
It happened at about 4pm on Tuesday as the 17-year-old woman from Darwen was crossing Hindle Street when she was approached by a cyclist who snatched a velcro purse containing £10.
The offender is described as a white male, approximately 14-years-old, wearing a black hooded top with a black cap underneath.
He was riding a red and black BMX.
An investigation is underway and police examining CCTV footage and making house to house enquiries.
