POLICE are searching for two men after a man was robbed in the street outside a Blackburn school.
The victim was alone and making his way to a local doctor's surgery when money was taken from him at 2.35pm on Wednesday, outside the grounds St Matthews C of E Primary School, Brunel Walk. Blackburn.
Police are now appealing for information. The first man is described as a white, in his mid-20s, 6ft, with short fair hair and was wearing dark clothing. The second man is described as Asian, also in his mid-20s, 5ft 3in tall with dark hair and was also wearing dark clothing.
Sgt Rob Anderson at Blackburn Police said: "We would like to reassure the local community that all possible action is being taken to identify the offenders. Crime of this kind will not be tolerated." Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0845 125 3545.
