ACTION for Blind People is helping visually impaired people receive the benefits to which they are entitled.
The benefits surgeries will be held in Bacup and Haslingden this week to help people get up-to-date information.
People found not to be receiving the correct benefits will be offered further appointments to complete the necessary forms and make their claim.
Kevin Nuttall, welfare rights co-ordinator for Action for Blind People, said: "Whether you are in debt, and anxious about mounting bills, not sure about what to do with your savings or would simply like to get online so you can manage your money and bills safely via the internet - we can help.
"We can also help you make sure you're getting all the benefits which you're entitled to.
"Over 90% of older visually impaired people live on less than half the national average income, yet many are not claiming the benefits to which they are entitled."
The sessions will be held at 10am to 4pm on April 23 at Co-op Food Market, Bacup; 10am to 4pm on April 24, at Haslingden Community Link and Children's Centre, Bury Road.
