PLANS for the new £12.7 million Darwen Leisure Centre could get the green light when they are presented to the borough council's planning and highways committee on April 24.
The plans have been revised from an initial idea to have the leisure centre divided over two separate sites.
The new plans now include a sports hall and larger health suite, following public consultation on the facility.
The old centre closed in December 2006 and the new building is due to open in autumn 2009.
