Mellor Brook Community Centre is hosting what is set to become a major event in the traditional fiddler's calendar, the Mellor Brook Fiddle Day. It will be a teaching day combined with an evening performance by Last Orders, the winners of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award 2007. Three established tutors specialising in tunes from Lancashire, Cumbria and Northumberland respectively will each lead three classes over the course of the day. Registration starts at 10am
