A YEAR of free swimming is up for grabs for any youngster who can name the water witch at the bottom of a pool.
Ribblesdale Pool, Clitheroe, has the first underwater mosaic at a municipal swimming pool in Lancashire.
It was designed by pupils at Edisford Primary School, Clitheroe, and made by Janette Ireland.
The work is part of a 10-week re-fit for the pool which will reopen on Monday.
Youngsters have until Tuesday, March 18, to enter the competition.
The winner will receive an invitation to the official re-opening on Thursday, March 27, and a trip with Ribble Valley mayor Doreen Taylor in the mayoral car.
Phone or e-mail entries to Ribble Valley Council's art development officer, Zoe Fagg, on 01200 443071 or platform.gallery@ribblevalley.gov.uk.
