COUNCILLOR Alan Ravenscroft, from the Ballroom Management Group, gave an update to councillors on the progress of improvements to the ballroom bar and annex facilities within the Town Hall.
Contracts between the ballroom manager and the council have now been signed.
It is hoped that the newly refurbished kitchen will be up and running within the next two weeks.
It has been agreed that regular meetings are to be held to promote the use of the facility for the people of Padiham and others from out of town.
