A man accused of stealing almost £30,000 from a pensioner appeared before Burnley Magistrates.
David Frederick Jowett, 54, of Fourth Avenue, Goole, is accused of six allegations of theft, dating back to 2002 from alleged victim Lillian Tempest.
The bench decided the case should be heard at crown court and the defendant was given unconditional bail until April 30, for committal proceedings.
