A PENSIONER who was exposed to asbestos when she worked in shoe manufacture died just four weeks after being diagnosed with mesothelioma.
Bernadette Mary Teresa Bibby, 70, of St Hubert's Road, Great Harwood, died on February 27 at Royal Blackburn Hospital, three days after being admitted.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out but further tests are required to confirm cause of death.
