Three people have been hospitalised after a crash between two vehicles and a cyclist.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Greenhead Lane in Reedley yesterday (August 6) at 2.45pm.

Three people were taken to hospital but it is not believed anybody suffered any life-threatening injuries.

A road closure was in place on Greenhead Lane from the bypass.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 3.15pm on the August 6, two fire engines from Burnley and Blackburn attended a road traffic collision on Greenhead Lane, Burnley.

“The incident involved two vehicles and a bike. Firefighters used the hearth kit to make the vehicles and surrounding areas safe.

“Three casualties were conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for one hour and thirty minutes.”
