POLICE investigating a series of flashing incidents in Burnley have arrested a 39-year-old man earlier today.
Detectives launched an inquiry after a number of indecent exposure incidents in the Piccadilly Road, Coal Clough Lane and Cog Lane areas of the town on December 19.
A number of women, aged from 16 to 85 years old were approached by a bald-headed man who made suggestive comments to them while exposing himself.
A Burnley police spokesman confirmed that an arrest was made regarding the investigation at just before 2am today.
Det Con Steve Charnley, of Burnley CID, said that further progress was expected to made with the inquiry today.
