TOGETHER: Brian and Helen Leach
A COUPLE celebrated their golden wedding anniversary surrounded by friends and family in the town where they met.
Retired trade union official Brian Leach, 75, met former administration worker Helen Leach 72, 50 years ago in the Huntsman Hotel in Blackpool.
They returned to the resort to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a function at the York House Hotel.
The Yorkshireman moved to Rishton with his wife 20 years ago for work and the couple have four children and six grandchildren.
