EAST Lancashire escaped relatively unscathed during last nights blustery weather.
Police and fire and rescue bosses said they were not called to any weather related incidents overnight.
However the weather was less forgiving in other parts of the county which were left under several inches of water and roads closed off by fallen trees.
Weather forecasters have predicted heavy showers and highs of 6C in East Lancashire tomorrow.
