SAM Grundy, 25, of Bridge Street, Rishton, was bound over in the sum of £100 to keep the peace for 12 months when he appeared before Hyndburn magistrates and admitted a breach of the peace.
The court heard that police were called by Grundy's girlfriend, Amy Longmore, because he was banging and kicking at the front door.
Grundy said he had been to a friend's on Boxing Day and when he got home had been locked out.
"I had no money and nowhere to go and when the police turned up I asked them to arrest me," he said.
