A Christmas market will be at Blackburn market on Saturday.
There will be extra gift and craft stalls and locally sourced foods, and the Mayor of Blackburn, Coun Maureen McGarvey, will be dropping in to give youngsters from Mill Hill and Whitebirk a helping hand on their own stall where they'll be selling decorations they have been making in the run up to Christmas.
Coun Alan Cottam, executive member for regeneration, said: "These Christmas markets have been very successful in the past.
"We have a busy market and welcome regular customers and newcomers on this special day. The food and other goods on sale complement the excellent locally sourced produce already on offer on the markets.
"I hope the children have a good day and that trade is very brisk for them."
